Dear Wendy, Larry & Candy,
I wanted to contact all of you but only had Wendy’s number. I was so sad to hear about Ruthy. I think of Buddy & Ruthy in their immaculately white apartment — Buddy calling Ruthy “Shirley” (Temple)…Ruthy buying everyone “clothing lasagna”; her Christmas shopping was always finished around Halloween. She sang a million variations of “Wee the People” with Buddy & friends for pretty much every occasion. Her cabbage soup was legendary; her brisket was caffeinated. She sent me birthday cards for years after I settled in CA. I loved her. I loved Buddy. I love all of you — Harriet

Dana and I were so sad to hear of “Aunt” Ruth’s passing. So many happy memories of our families together so many years ago. Our thoughts are with you all at this time. May all your happy memories sustain you in the days, weeks and years ahead.
